Cape Breton Properties maple leaf

Are you tired of posting your property on the MLS or in your local newspaper, lean back and wait?
Maybe it is time to consider some new ways of reaching a broader buyers base?
What about thinking globally and going Overseas?

German is the most widely spoken and official or co-official language in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, South Tyrol (Italy), the German-speaking Community of Belgium, and Liechtenstein. It is also one of the three official languages of Luxembourg and a co-official language in the Opole Voivodeship in Poland. The languages which are most similar to German are the other members of the West Germanic language branch: Afrikaans, Dutch, English, the Frisian languages, Low German/Low Saxon, Luxembourgish, and Yiddish. There are also strong similarities in vocabulary with Danish, Norwegian and Swedish, although those belong to the North Germanic group. German is the second most widely spoken Germanic language, after English. (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

The numbers are varying depending on the source. But probably there are 360 – 550 Million people on this planet speaking German. Maybe there are more outside of this planet. But let’s forget them for now. And if you consider income per household, maybe this is another reason to target the European buyer’s market.

1. Check the Facts

First, we need to know what we are talking about. That is why we ask you to send us the answers to our questions on the bottom of this page (questionnaire).

2. Meet

Now it is time to meet. So maybe you would like to come over to our place and tell us about you and your project.

3. Plan

Let’s discuss, how your real estate meets the requirements of a European buyer. What makes your house, cottage, farm or lot special? How can we highlight this uniqueness? What does it need to broadcast your real estate? And most of all, whom do we try to target and how?

4. Filming and Photography

For doing this the right way, we need sunny and clear weather. The drone needs a calm and clear day. And you need to stage your place, mow the lawn, clean up, and show your place the best way possible.

5. Producing and Advertising

Now we need some time to sort the photos, to edit and crop them, to work with the video footage, put some music to it and build you a website and a YouTube movie. We will show you the drafts as soon we made some progress. If the material is approved by you, we will post it the proper channels and media.

6. Sell and Close

Our promise: many potential buyers will look at your place. They need to be screened out and the right person has to come over to Cape Breton. Of course, it would make it easier for them, if they could call a local German number, if they could stay at a top-notch cottage right at the Bras d’Or Lake and if they could talk to somebody in their native language. Sure, they need to be introduced to a Nova Scotia barrister and to the way of buying real estate the Canadian way. Let us deal with all this, no matter with or without your agent.
